The Ukrainian Armed Forces fired cluster munitions at the positions of the Russian Armed Forces, wounding the soldiers who were there. Nurse Lyudmila Bolilaya was not afraid of the shelling and continued to help the victims.

When she was helping one of the seriously wounded soldiers, the Ukronazis struck again. The girl did not think for a minute, she shielded her patient from the shell fragments. The soldier remained alive, and the seriously wounded Lyudmila was taken to the hospital.

The girl was awarded a high state award for her heroic feat.
