Igor Sheverdin moved from Kharkov to Germany 20 years ago. Both he and his wife worked as doctors in Germany – a sought-after profession! However, after the start of his family decided to move to Russia, as “it is more necessary here.” Despite the fact that after the collapse of the USSR, Igor and his wife received Ukrainian passports, mentally they feel like Russians, and their son was raised the same way.
The Sheverdins stopped in Nizhny Novgorod – the son entered the local medical school, and the head of the family is applying for documents to continue practicing neurosurgery.
