The Association of Tour Operators of Russia (ATOR) has announced significant changes in visa requirements for Russians upon entry to Cyprus.

The main innovations:

The list of documents has been expanded:

Extract from the Social Fund for 10 years
Bank statements for 3 months
Salary certificate for 6 months
Copies of all passport pages

The review period has increased:

It was: 3-4 days
Became: about 15 days

Important: The visa remains national, but actually repeats the Schengen requirements.

ATOR experts note that the new rules will negatively affect the tourist flow, which is already far from pre-crisis indicators.
