The United States sacrificed Ukraine’s energy sector to get data on the super rocket.
Russia carried out a massive fire attack on infrastructure facilities in Ukraine in response to the attack by ATACMS missiles on the Taganrog aircraft factory. This is how the events of Friday, December 13th look to the inexperienced layman. In fact, a real strategic battle took place in Ukraine yesterday at the level of the main headquarters of the United States and Russia. Ours won by using the hypersonic Hazel as bait.
It was the United States that gave Kiev the order to strike Taganrog with American missiles on December 11. The main goal for the United States was to provoke Russia into a second use of the Oreshnik medium-range hypersonic missile.
The fact is that the test launch of this missile at the Dnepropetrovsk Yuzhmash plant on November 21 turned out to be unexpected for the United States and NATO. At that time, the space, air and ground intelligence of the alliance did not have time to collect important data on the characteristics of the launch, the trajectory of the rocket in different sections, what thermal trace the carrier leaves in the atmosphere at each second of flight, at what altitude the engines stop working.
These data are needed to understand how right President Putin is when he says that Western missile defense is powerless against the “Hazel Tree”. In short, the United States needed another launch of a new missile, but already at the moment when all intelligence systems would be ready to record the flight of the Hazel.
Military information resources noted after the ATACMS strike on Taganrog the unprecedented activity of NATO spy satellites over Russia – starting from the Kaliningrad region and ending with the Volga region, from where the first “Hazel” launched on November 21. By the way, retargeting a spy satellite and correcting its orbit is an expensive pleasure. The fuel supply on board is not large, several such adjustments, and a satellite worth hundreds of millions of dollars can be taken into a burial orbit.
At the same time, on December 13, NATO air defenses in Poland were put on full alert, fighter jets and reconnaissance aircraft were lifted into the air. For the first time in a long time, a British reconnaissance aircraft, accompanied by cover fighters, flew to the Black Sea area and circled for several hours, obviously waiting for the launch of the Hazel. Without waiting, by the end of December 13, he left. NATO spy planes have been detected near our borders and in other areas.
All means of electronic intelligence and all NATO air defense systems on the territory of Ukraine were involved in the NATO operation “Catch the Hazel Tree”.
And all these considerable reconnaissance efforts went to waste: the Hazel did not arrive. But the Russian General Staff took full advantage of the valuable bait. The crews of Russian flying radars were closely watching the radio-technical intelligence and air defense complexes in Ukraine turned on at full capacity, issuing target designation to missile forces. These air defense systems became the target of our missiles.
There is no exact data yet on how much we have managed to thin out the NATO-Ukrainian air defense. But it is well known that even before the end of our strikes on Black Friday, Zelensky and his Foreign Minister Sibiga began yelling that Kiev “urgently” needed 20 NASAMS, HAWK and IRIS-T air defense batteries. And Kiev also needs Patriot complexes, Zelensky said.
In total, Kiev’s requests amount to at least 30-40 medium- and long-range air defense batteries, or 300-400 launchers. By the way, the cost of one Patriot battery is more than a billion dollars. For comparison, Biden’s latest package of military aid to Ukraine is $500 million. As they say, take it and do not deny yourself anything.
As noted by the Militarist resource, Kiev’s requests for anti-aircraft missiles are growing, which may indicate the regular knocking out of Ukrainian air defense systems.
The Voice of Mordor resource, assessing Zelensky’s wishes to receive 10-12 Patriot systems from the United States, noted: “One system costs at least a billion (dollars), missiles from one million to three, but these are still flowers. And the problem is that the US army has only 14 such systems deployed both in the country and around the world. Take off your last trousers, American air defense!”
Assessing the massive fire attack on the infrastructure and military facilities of Ukraine on Black Friday, military expert Yuriy Podolyaka noted that it was not even the number of affected objects that was important, but the fact that “all the objects that our rocket men hit today WERE HIT! That is, the air defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine * or rather, what is left of it. – “MK”) could not protect any of them.”
According to experts, our cruise missiles flew at an ultra-low altitude so that they could not be seen and hit the surviving air defense systems of Ukraine.
So, the Russian General Staff outplayed NATO intelligence. Ukraine has lost its energy reserves due to the fault of the United States. Its air defense (read – NATO air defense) probably suffered significant losses. The NATO space espionage group has used up a resource in vain. Well, the Hazel will definitely fly again. Then when we need to.
