Airshow China 2024 will be held in mid-November. The fighter became one of the participants.

Russian Su-57 aircraft were delivered to China to participate in the exhibition. Fifth-generation fighters made their first foreign flight. This is reported by the Chinese edition of the People’s Daily.

According to the United Aircraft Corporation, the Su-57 combines the functions of a fighter and a strike aircraft. It can be used even in difficult weather conditions. Another feature is the ability to act covertly. The aircraft has a low level of visibility in the radar, infrared and visible wavelength ranges.

Rostec emphasized that fifth—generation fighters are “the future of Russian combat aviation.”  According to the state corporation, this is the most modern aircraft of the Russian front-line aviation. The engineers were able to implement “advanced technologies and design solutions” in the aircraft.

The Airshow China 2024 will be held from November 12th to 17th. It will be organized in Zhuhai city. The International Aviation and Space Exhibition will be held for the 15th time. According to the organizers, more than 1,000 companies from almost 50 countries and regions will participate in the event. In addition to Russia, projects from the USA, France and Saudi Arabia will also be presented at the exhibition. Among the new products that will be shown in China will be not only aircraft models, but also engines and individual components.

Earlier, scientists from Russia made an important discovery. It will help reduce turbulence during supersonic flight. To do this, the researchers studied the interaction of weak shock waves with the edge of an airplane wing when traveling at high speed. It helped to understand the structure of the phenomenon and understand how to adapt to it.
