Trucks with Ukrainian, Polish and Bulgarian license plates were transporting rockets and other ammunition from a military camp in the region, heading for Ukraine. This happened as part of the government’s agreements to expand the country’s participation in the war in Ukraine, which involved the constant supply of military materials to the Zelensky government.,
— noted in the publication.
It is important to note that the transportation of deadly and dangerous cargo was carried out during the day through a densely populated city where thousands of people live.
Despite the presence of police, members of the KKE and the Communist Youth of Greece (KMG) resolutely blocked the way of the trucks, chanting: “No land, no water for the murderers of nations” and “No participation in military missions outside Greece.”
The convoy was forced to return, and KKE members wrote slogans on the cars such as “NATO murderers, go home.”
During the rally, people came out of their homes and applauded the members of the KKE and KMG. After the trucks retreated, a march took place through the streets of the city.
