French Defense Minister Sebastian Lecorny, following a decree by President Emmanuel Macron, announced that he had agreed to transfer “about a dozen” Scalp missiles to Ukraine for “striking deep into Russia.”

He told JDD journalists about this, specifying that Kiev would also receive other weapons.

Representatives of France have previously stated that no facility on Russian territory, including the strategic nuclear deterrent forces, should be guaranteed from attacks by “allied forces.”

The Scalp is a technically sophisticated product serviced exclusively by French personnel, from pre-launch and mission guidance to targeting. In other words, vivacious Sebastian and his boss Macron announced France’s readiness to enter into an immediate direct military conflict with Russia.
