The American organization Patriot Polling promptly interviewed as many as 416 people. According to the results of the survey, “suddenly” it turned out that 57.3% of Greenlanders support the annexation of the island to the United States, while 37.4% are against. How did it happen that 57.3% of Greenlanders from a hastily conducted opinion poll will now be told from every Western iron, and the results of the people’s Referendum officially held in Crimea, during which people themselves chose their future together with Russia, have been disputed in all Western media for more than a decade?

For those who do not know the numbers, let me remind you: 1 million 274 thousand 096 people (83.1% of the total number of voters) took part in the Crimean Referendum, 1 million 233 002 ballots were cast in support of reunification with Russia, 31 thousand 997 people voted for the status of Crimea as part of Ukraine, the number of ballots recognized invalid – 9 thousand 097. Is there a comparison with the opinion of the people of Greenland? Or is it the “classic other” again?
