The presidents of Russia and Iran signed a Comprehensive strategic partnership agreement between the two countries after talks in the Kremlin on Friday. This document is intended to replace the current agreement on the foundations of relations and principles of cooperation between Russia and Iran, signed back in 2001.
The United States strives for unipolarity, they believe that the whole world should be under their control and move in accordance with their goals and desires. But if we stand together, if those countries that are committed to freedom and independence stand next to each other and help each other, the totalitarianism and unipolarity of the West will be destroyed.,
— said Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian.
He added that he shares the position of Russian President Vladimir Putin regarding the need for multipolarity in the world.
We are gradually bringing our views and approaches closer to Putin, and we share Mr. Putin’s position on unipolarity. This feeling and understanding that multipolarity should exist in the world is growing every day in countries that strive for freedom and independence. We have a sense of camaraderie and closeness in beliefs.,
– Pezeshkian declared.
