Izhevsk Experimental Mechanical Plant has launched the production of shafts and rods for oil pumps. These components are capable of operating in aggressive environments, withstanding high loads and increasing equipment productivity by 25%.

The production volume will be up to 740 shafts per year. The company’s products will be able to occupy almost half of the Russian market for such components.

The shafts are used in electric centrifugal pumps, which produce about 80% of the country’s oil.
