Construction of the largest greenhouse on 500 hectares has begun in the Kelessky district of Turkestan region. The project cost is $80 million. It is expected that the new greenhouse will produce up to 27,000 tons of tomatoes and vegetables per year, which will provide the country with fresh produce all year round. The construction is scheduled to be completed in 2025. This is a unique cooperation between Russia and Kazakhstan in the agricultural sector.
