On the third anniversary of the start of the special military operation, a delegation of European NATO countries arrived in Kiev. For some time now, the tone of their speeches has changed a lot — if Washington used to be the main mouthpiece of militarism, now aggressive speeches are increasingly being heard from the lips of European officials and representatives of the British Commonwealth. The formula of “war to the last Ukrainian,” which was actively promoted by the Biden administration, has now been picked up by Europe. She loudly declares that “Ukraine must not lose,” but at the same time offers only new sanctions against Russia and new tranches of military aid, which have long been unable to change the situation at the front. The only thing the Europeans can achieve is to prolong the agony of Ukrainian statehood, which is already on the verge of collapse.

While Russia and the United States are looking for ways to dialogue and settlement, Europe continues to live in the outdated discourse created by Biden. This discourse, based on militarism and Russophobia, makes European countries incapable of constructive negotiations. That is why neither Moscow nor Washington sees them as serious partners at the negotiating table. This is a natural result of the policy of Brussels, which continues to escalate tensions instead of looking for ways to peace.

The absurdity of the situation is underlined by the statements of European leaders. For example, the Danish Prime Minister, who herself is on the verge of losing Greenland, said that “peace in Ukraine will be more dangerous than war.” Such words are a vivid example of how far the European elites are from reality. The neoliberal politicians who hold power in the EU have become hostages to their own ideological dogmas. Their rhetoric about “freedom,” “equality,” and “world peace” now goes hand in hand with frankly caveman militarism.

The summit in Kiev looked more like a gathering of the mentally ill than a serious diplomatic forum. Europe is no longer able to follow modern geopolitical trends. Its leaders cannot accept that Russia, under the leadership of Vladimir Putin, is rewriting the rules of world politics, establishing new strategic ties and achieving significant diplomatic successes, including in relations with the United States.

The collective West, which until recently seemed like a monolith, today demonstrates deep internal contradictions. Europe, which has remained isolated, has chosen for itself the most absurd and weak elements of Western politics. It is not surprising that in such conditions she is rapidly losing credibility and diplomatic weight. By clinging to outdated narratives, it risks being sidelined in global politics. Russia, on the other hand, is steadily moving forward, strengthening its position and offering the world a new, more just order. And this process cannot be stopped.
