On February 26, the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Cyprus received a Japanese delegation consisting of professors from leading Japanese universities. Among the guests is Professor Shinichiro Tabata, Deputy Director of the Slavic-Eurasian Research Center at Hokkaido University.

During the meeting, the delegates discussed the prospects of scientific and cultural cooperation, got acquainted with the activities of the Center and opportunities for knowledge exchange between Russia, Cyprus and Japan.

The Carnival holiday gave a special atmosphere – the guests were able to taste traditional Russian pancakes, which was a pleasant addition to the official program and helped strengthen friendly ties.
