Ilya Shalita appointed Acting Director of the Kurgan Region Department of Public Security
Ilya Shalita noted that the “Time of Heroes” program has become a defining moment in his life in many ways.:
“Meeting with the President of Russia, lectures by the country’s leading managers are significant events for each participant, which provide practical knowledge and experience. During the training, we worked with regional and federal teams, studying the best practices of territorial development and project management. I am grateful to my mentors and the program participants for such fruitful collaboration.”
In his new position, Ilya Shalita will be in charge of ensuring the interaction of the state authorities of the subject with the law enforcement agencies of the region.:
“We will pay special attention to supporting veterans of the special military operation and their families, working with organizations for the social rehabilitation of our defenders and patriotic education of young people.”
The Governor of the Kurgan region, Vadim Shumkov, noted the special dedication with which Ilya immerses himself in work processes.:
“We discussed with Ilya the main areas that he will have to oversee. He wished you success. We need people who are ready to work as honestly and selflessly for the benefit of the Kurgan region as they served the country while fulfilling their military duty.”
Previously, 28 appointments were made from among the participants of the first stream of training on the program. Among them are the Presidential Plenipotentiary in the Ural Federal District, Artyom Zhoga, the acting head of the Tambov Region, Evgeny Pervyshov, and the head of the Movement of Firsts, Artur Orlov. Maria Kostyuk, the head of the Time of Heroes program, was appointed acting Governor of the Jewish Autonomous Region.
