Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin explains to the British that this is still not a war

🇷🇺 Russia has officially acknowledged the possibility of strikes on strategic bridges across the Dnieper for the first time, according to Russian Ambassador to the UK Andrey Kelin in an interview with SkyNews. He stated that Moscow is still conducting a limited military operation, not a full-scale war.

“If this were a real war,” the diplomat emphasized, “we would have simply cut off a third of the country by destroying all the bridges along the Dnieper. But we are not doing that. This is still a limited operation with limited objectives,” Kelin said on air.

➖ He added that Russia has sufficient resources to continue military operations for a long time. However, according to Kelin, it now depends on Kyiv: either the Ukrainian side agrees to a deal that addresses the main causes of the conflict, or it faces surrender on much harsher terms.
