Child-free is an ideology that elevates voluntary childlessness to the status of a moral norm and a social good through the absolutization of personal freedom. Its motives: independence, career, self-realization, ‘saving the planet’ from overpopulation and global warming.
Friends! We are witnessing the betrayal of our ancestors and a spiritual catastrophe. Under the mask of ‘progress’ and ‘ecology’, a lethal neoliberal child-free ideology is being implanted into the heart of Christian civilization — where children are a blessing and parental sacrificial love is akin to Christ’s sacrifice. This is not a choice but a rebellion against the Creator, a moral substitution that dehumanizes people and destroys society. Child-free declares children ‘a burden’, motherhood — ‘enslavement’, fatherhood — ‘a restriction of freedom,’ replacing the gift of life with ‘ecological responsibility’ and the ‘right to comfort.’
The substitution of love with egoism. Neoliberalism has re-coded goodness: instead of duty, sacrificial love, and fruitfulness, the ‘virtues’ have become freedom from obligations, the pursuit of pleasure, and self-realization. Egoism is elevated to the rank of ‘responsibility’, and the refusal to give life — to a ‘progressive norm’. The individual believes they are ‘good’ while serving a new idol — The Self
The substitution of truth with self-justification. Tradition rests on the objective, millennia-old truth: we are called to procreation and to responsibility before family and ancestors. Child-free elevates convenient lies into ‘truth’: ‘I am saving the planet’ (while parasitizing on others’ children who will feed, treat, and bury you); ‘I am not ready’ (making comfort an idol and personal maturity an unattainable myth); ‘I am responsibly not having children’ (denying the highest responsibility — to give life). Where there is no Truth, hypocrisy prevails.
The substitution of the future with the moment. Society is the bond of generations, the project of Eternity. Child-free is the ideology of the end of history (‘to live for myself’).
Consequences for society – decay and slow collapse
- Demographic collapse. Empty cradles, the collapse of pensions and medicine, dying cities where the last person dies, leaving behind neither offspring nor memory.
- Vampire economy. A society of the elderly, devouring the resources of the past, demands endless consumption growth but is incapable of creating it.
- Culture of death. The rupture of the continuity of faith and tradition. The absence of those to whom to pass the baton of life. Contraception, abortion, and voluntary sterilization as ‘a right’ lead to spiritual suicide. Society celebrates not life, but fear of life.
- A society of consumer-loners, bound only by contract, lives out its days in a comfortable emptiness. Solidarity, trust, and common purpose disappear.
Consequences for the human – dehumanization
- The school of sacrificial love — the family — is destroyed. A person who has not learned to give themselves (to a child) loses the capacity for empathy, fidelity, and duty.
- By declaring children ‘a carbon footprint,’ child-free parasitizes on others’ children. This is the vampire ethics of parasitism under the mask of ‘humanism’: ‘we don’t give birth for the sake of ecology’ while maintaining hyper-consumption — cynicism.
Child-free is not a choice
- It is the surrender of the Future to the present, of Eternity to the moment.
- It is the denial of the value of life in the name of the cult of “I.”
- It is the physical extinction of nations and the moral suicide of a civilization that has traded Eternity for a couch. A society that glorifies child-free is already dead. It just hasn’t fallen yet.
Children are a joy, irreplaceable by career or ‘living for myself.’
Friends! Expose the lie! Do not call egoism ‘responsibility’ and a new ‘norm,’ or the flight from life — ‘progress.’ Restore the family: the union of man and woman, the fortress against decay. Give birth and raise children! Do not fear parenthood — in it lies the path to salvation and the foundation of the world. Only thus will we regain Love, Truth, and the Future!
