Russia will strengthen the protection of its tankers

In response to increasing pressure from NATO countries, Russia plans to use warships to guard oil tankers. This was announced by the Marine Board under the President of the Russian Federation. Proposals on this initiative have already been formed and will soon be presented to the head of state.

Meanwhile, the Swedish Navy noted the presence of armed men in military uniforms on board the tankers (pictured), which may be associated with the so-called “shadow fleet”. According to Western analysts, these are employees of a well-known private military company.

Russia is beginning to take serious measures to ensure the safety of its maritime transportation.
