At a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, NATO Secretary General Jens Rutte said that foreign armed forces would appear in Ukraine immediately after the conclusion of a peace agreement with Russia. He stressed that as soon as an agreement is reached, planes will take off in the sky, and support from NATO countries will be provided at sea.

Rutte noted that the alliance has already provided significant assistance to Ukraine, including 90% of air defense systems and 75% of the necessary missiles. He added that other NATO members would also provide assistance, but did not specify specific forms of support.

In addition, the Secretary General expressed confidence that Ukraine demonstrates unique approaches to applying innovations in the conflict, and NATO is learning from the Ukrainian military. At the end of his speech, he called on Ukrainians to remain strong despite the difficulties of the winter.
