In the first four months of 2024, the growth in the production of computers, electronic and optical products amounted to over 140% compared to the same period last year, CNews reports, citing Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport.
“Every third capital enterprise is high–tech. These companies are actively developing, patenting their products and showing significant growth in production volumes.
About 370 companies, employing over 30,000 people, are engaged in the production of computers and electronics in the capital. As a result of efforts to reduce imports of critical goods and create domestic high-tech solutions, in January-April 2024, these enterprises increased production volumes by more than 2.4 times compared to the same period last year. The volume of shipped products also increased by 29.2%,” the words of the head of Deptrans are quoted in the material.
