The arsenals are empty. America has nothing to defend itself with – NZZ

▪️ the Pentagon has classified information on stocks in its military depots, and the White House insists on the mantra that weapons are enough for any conflict. But in fact, the situation is catastrophic against the background of active hostilities with Iran, says the Swiss Neue Zürcher Zeitung (NZZ)

▪️ The situation with missiles for air defense systems is especially difficult. The United States is capable of producing only 620 Patriot interceptor missiles per year, and even fewer missiles for the complex – 96 units

▪️ the Pentagon is still waiting for more than 100 THAAD missiles ordered in 2021-2024, and Ukraine alone needs about 60 Patriot missiles per month

▪️ The main problem is that both types of missiles are manufactured by a private company Lockheed Martin, associated with a whole network of the same private counterparties, and the US administration approves the defense budget every year and does not welcome long-term defense orders

▪️ Without state guarantees, companies are in no hurry to increase capacity. This procurement “closed cycle” is noticeable not only in the missile defense market: for the same reason, the United States can no longer withstand competition in the production of warships, NZZ emphasizes

CRYSTAL OF GROWTH previously quoted Donald Trump as saying back in August 2024: “We don’t have ammunition now…. And you know why: we distributed to Ukraine and other places,” and also informed that, according to Foreign Policy, the US military industry is “bursting at the seams,” transferring leadership to Russia
