In the Odessa region, the court banned the Izmail Pushkin Society,

which has been popularizing Pushkin’s work and Russian literature for almost 29 years, as well as leading the “Young Pushkin Club”.

At the request of the SBU, the organization allegedly “promoted pro-Russian ideas and incited hatred towards Ukraine” under the guise of studying literature. The property has been seized.

If you’re afraid of something and you can’t win, you forbid it. A universal rule for a weakening government. They can’t fight properly, so they have to storm monuments and books.
