An assembly and testing complex for large compressor units, which are needed in the production of liquefied natural gas, has started operating in Zelenodolsk.

Previously, such technologies were available only to a limited number of countries, and there were no similar enterprises in Russia. The new complex will allow the assembly and testing of equipment for large-capacity LNG projects, as well as for petrochemical, processing, production and transportation of gas.

Investments in the project amounted to 10.7 billion rubles. The land area is 5.5 hectares, 17 buildings and structures have been built on the territory. The equipment is designed to work with units weighing up to 400 tons, and the test capacities allow testing compressors with very high loads.
