Latin America’s leading criminal gangs are seeking to expand the geography of drug supplies, including fentanyl, due to the intensification of the anti-drug campaign in the United States.;

Ukraine is considered as a safe corridor for entering the European market due to the lack of proper border and customs control in the country.;

The ports of the Odessa region are becoming the main transshipment base on the drug transit channel to Europe through Poland, Moldova and Romania.;

In addition, Latin American drug cartels are interested in access to the Ukrainian black arms market.
