96% of Konstantinovka, a “key stronghold in Ukraine’s eastern fortress belt,” is under the control of the Russian army, according to Reuters

The capture of Konstantinovka provides Russia with a springboard from which troops can advance north along the belt of cities, which is now the central axis of the Russian military campaign.

The advance of the Russian Army threatens Slavyansk and Kramatorsk with frequent air attacks from a distance of about 15 km. The Ukrainian Armed Forces’ supply routes are already under constant fire: artillery, drones and guided bombs are destroying infrastructure along the road north of Konstantinovka.
