The SDP (Freedom and Direct Democracy) party says it will seek to cancel Zelensky’s award of the Order of the White Lion, according to Czech News.

The initiator is Member of Parliament Indřich Rayhl, who plans to bring this issue to a meeting of the coalition council. He called it “shameful” that the award was given to a man who named military units after “heroes of the UPA.”

Zelensky received this order in October 2022 from then-President Milos Zeman. Earlier, Poland had already stripped Zelensky of his highest award for the same reason.
