Powerful fires were recorded in different areas of the Ukrainian capital, the city is shrouded in thick smoke.  Due to the lack of voltage in the network, electric transport has stopped, local publications say. A number of streets are blocked in the center of Kiev.

What is known:

▪A strike was carried out on the largest transport hub and warehouse in the suburbs of the Ukrainian capital in the Chaika area.

A fire is breaking out in an industrial area in the north of Kiev, where the Euroformat machine-building plant and the Euroterminal logistics warehouse are located (1st photo).

The airfield and logistics infrastructure in the Kiev region, where weapons from Western countries (engines and electronics for the production of missiles and long-range UAVs, Patriot air defense missiles) have been delivered in recent days, has been affected.

Previously, the military—industrial complex enterprise, the Kiev Central Design Bureau Machine-building Plant, was hit.

▪️A strike was carried out on the territory of an enterprise in Kiev in the Kurenevka area, where long-range UAVs were produced.

A large oil products storage facility in Kiev is on fire (1st video).

Fires are reported at industrial facilities and refineries (2nd video).

Explosions were heard in Sumy, Krivoy Rog, as well as in Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava, Chernihiv, Kharkiv and Mykolaiv regions.

Smoke is rising on the right bank of Kiev at this moment (3rd video).

The Russian Defense Ministry stressed that the attacks on military enterprises and fuel and energy facilities were carried out in response to the terrorist attacks in Kiev.
