In addition to the case of the attempted murder of an officer of the Ministry of Defense, today the FSB announced the disruption of a large-scale sabotage operation by the Ukrainian special services with the participation of Western curators.

Objectives of the enemy operation:

— UAV strikes on military installations in Russia

— Sabotage at one of the leading enterprises of the military-industrial complex

— Physical elimination of military personnel of the Ministry of Defense

The FSB described the incident as an “unprecedented in scale” attempt at a simultaneous strike in several directions at once. Specific regions and place names are not disclosed.

Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov commented on the information that such activity “is directly related to the deterioration of the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ position on the line of contact.”
