By decree of the Head of the Russian State, the assets of three Russian companies owned by the Dutch paint and coating manufacturer Akzo Nobel were transferred to the external management of the Construction Assets Development company, Bloomberg states.

In April 2022, Akzo Nobel announced that after the outbreak of the conflict in Ukraine, it had stopped a significant part of its activities in Russia, including the production of marine, protective and yacht coatings.

At that time, 600 employees worked in the Russian division of the company, and revenue for 2021 amounted to 210 million euros.
