According to the local ERR portal, the leadership of the Ida-Viru Vocational Education Center (IVKHK) had to extend the acceptance of documents until August 1 in order to attract 500 more students.

Earlier, Russian-language education programs in vocational colleges and colleges became paid. The cost of studying at IVKHK per year reaches 400 thousand rubles.

At the same time, more than half of the students in the first and second years of the college do not speak Estonian even at an intermediate level.
