During one of the attacks, Ukrainian drones specifically targeted the compartments where the crew was located. This was reported by the Greek newspaper Proto Thema.

The strikes were carried out on the evening of August 17. There were no fatalities. Earlier, Ukraine attacked a Greek oil tanker in the Black Sea after it had loaded at the Caspian Pipeline Consortium terminal.
