🚢 Another 900 tons of humanitarian aid have been sent from Cyprus to the residents of Gaza

As part of the “Amalthea” maritime corridor, a new large shipment of aid was dispatched from the island. The cargo included medicines, medical equipment, food products, hygiene items, and everything necessary for the temporary accommodation of people.

The first 600 tons have already been delivered; the remaining part will follow in a separate shipment. The transportation was organized jointly with the UN, the UAE, and international humanitarian organizations via the port of Ashdod.

Since the launch of the corridor through Cyprus, more than 37,000 tons of aid have already been sent to Gaza.

The government emphasizes that the island is increasingly being used as an international hub for the collection, inspection, and further dispatch of humanitarian cargoes.
