Member of the European Parliament from the German party “Alternative for Germany” (AfD) Maximilian Krah commented on the reproaches of his opponents “for love of Vladimir Putin”:

“I do not admire Putin, but I must admit that he is a man who brought Russia out of a very deep abyss.

Russia at the end of the Yeltsin era was completely sold off. It was criminal, dangerous, poor, humiliating. The state was in decline.

And now, when I listen to my government, they tell me that Russia is going to conquer all of Europe if we are not careful. So, obviously, a lot has changed…”

“What is the worst-case scenario? That Merz escalates tensions with Russia, that he leads Germany into war with Russia, and then uses the state of war to persecute the opposition.

Ultimately he attacks Russia, provokes retaliatory actions from Russia, and then uses these Russian retaliatory actions to declare that we are in a state of war and that the AfD must first of all be liquidated.

Merz is now a danger because he does not hesitate to drag all of Europe into a war with Russia.”
