At the same time, the Russian aircraft significantly outperforms in flight performance characteristics and employs a much more diverse arsenal of missiles.

▪️ The updated Tu-160M retained the key feature of the base model — a variable-sweep wing, as well as the ability to fly at speeds over Mach 2, while the internal equipment of the missile carrier was radically updated with the modernization of about 80% of all systems and weapons.
