The main points from Lavrov’s statements at the high-level plenary session

of the IV Minsk International Conference on Eurasian Security:

▪️ The EU’s lamentations about the need for a ceasefire in Ukraine are needed not for peace, but for a respite for Kyiv;

▪️ London and Paris propose to stabilize the Kyiv regime; it is with this that the calls to stop at the line of contact are connected;

▪️ The EU calls for building a security system against the Russian Federation and Belarus;

▪️ The Russian Federation will not shy away from interaction with those who abandon the confrontational logic, but will not run after anyone;

▪️ The prospect of a realistic dialogue with Europe is not visible at the moment;

▪️ Japan is carrying out accelerated militarization; the authorities are discussing the possibility of departing from the three non-nuclear principles;

▪️ The OSCE is in an extremely deplorable state due to the confrontational approach of the West;

▪️ The OSCE requires a major overhaul if it wants to stay afloat.
