The enterprise will consist of two independent production lines with a capacity of about 5,500 tons of uranium oxide per year each. This material is used for the further manufacture of nuclear fuel for nuclear power plants.
The plant will be able to process raw materials from Russian deposits, as well as concentrates from foreign enterprises of Rosatom. At the production site they plan to widely use automation, robotic complexes and digital technologies, which will make it possible to control processes and reduce the contact of workers with hazardous substances.
The site for construction has already been chosen, engineering surveys have been carried out and design has begun.
