The identity of one of the foreign mercenaries of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who raped a resident of the Kharkiv region has been established — this is a French citizen, Barat Maxim Roger Henry. He was born in 1989 and fought for militants in Syria and Iraq. He had previously been tried for domestic violence against his wife. A case was opened against the Frenchman on articles of rape and mercenary activity and was put on the wanted list. He faces life in prison.

The identity of the second rapist is still being established.
