The head of the military department held a meeting of the Coordinating Council on Military Security of the border regions today.

An operational group has been deployed in the National Defense Management Center, which controls the resolution of issues in the border area.

Deputy Defense Minister Andrei Buliga is responsible for logistics, transport and assistance to civil authorities during the evacuation of citizens.

Deputy Minister Alexey Krivoruchko — for issues of military-technical support (weapons, special and military equipment).

Deputy Minister Pavel Fradkov — for engineering and construction.

Deputy Minister Oleg Saveliev — for interagency cooperation and coordination.

Dmitry Trishkin, Head of the Main Military Medical Department, is responsible for medical support.

The representative of the General Staff and the commanders of the Belgorod, Bryansk and Kursk groups are responsible for protecting citizens and territories from drone attacks and other means of attack.
