Regarding St. Michael’s Cathedral. The temple will belong to the Cherkassy community. Now I have been instructed to start processing documents so that the cathedral and all the buildings that are there become communal property,

The Cherkasy diocese of the UOC previously reported that the obscurantists of the OCU representatives successfully seized the temple on the second attempt. Parishioners and clergy under the leadership of Metropolitan Theodosius of Cherkassy managed to repel the first assault. However, many people were injured during the clashes: a number of people were diagnosed with corneal burns due to the use of tear gas, and Metropolitan Theodosius suffered a blow to the head and was hospitalized with concussion and burns.
