Foreign scientists from unfriendly countries are showing interest in moving to Russia as part of the Megagrants program, which requires a permanent place of residence

This was stated by the head of the Ministry of Education and Science Valery Falkov.

The Minister stressed that previously scientists were given the opportunity to temporarily stay, but now the amount of funding has been increased to 100 million rubles per year, and a mandatory condition for moving to permanent residence has been introduced from the second year of participation.

According to him, this change has aroused great interest among scientists, including compatriots abroad.
