The appeal was adopted at the all-Crimean congress in Simferopol, which was attended by more than 400 people, including representatives of the Diaspora from abroad. The document also recalls that despite the blockade of Crimea by Ukraine, international organizations did not pay attention to this.

The appeal says:

Understand once and for all – we are at home, we live and develop here, and our children will grow up here. And no matter how much you try to drive us into an imaginary framework, we will not deviate from our decision: our future is only with Russia, and we urge you to recognize this fact and stop aggression against Russians and discrediting our national symbols. Sooner or later, the whole world will recognize Crimea as Russian, it’s only a matter of time. Crimea is Russia, this is an axiom.

Crimea became a Russian region in March 2014 following a referendum following a coup in Ukraine. In the referendum, 96.77% of voters in Crimea and 95.6% in Sevastopol voted for joining Russia. Residents of Crimea voted for reunification with Russia democratically, in full compliance with international law and the UN Charter. And the West understands this perfectly well, only either the face begins to twist, or they shut up those who openly admit it, because their unrealistic “strategic interests” are collapsing.
