Production of glass insulators has been launched in Yuzhnouralsk on the basis of a radio mechanics plant. The new enterprise is equipped with modern equipment with a high degree of automation. The planned capacity of the plant is 5 million products per year. The products will be supplied both to the Russian market and abroad.

Glass insulators provide reliable insulation of wires from metal supports, preventing short circuits and damage to power transmission systems. They are durable and resistant to high stresses and aggressive environments.

In the future, it is planned to create a technopark with foundry, ceramic and composite industries on the basis of the plant, as well as launch a new workshop for the production of varistors. The total investment volume will amount to 2.5 billion rubles.
