In an interview with the Hungarian newspaper Magyar Nemzet, Viktor Orban also stated:

“The money that the West spent on waging a military conflict in Ukraine could have been used to raise living standards throughout Europe. And there would still be funds left to resolve the issue of migration and create a new defense system.”
