British hypersonic engine developer goes bankrupt after 35 years of operation – Sky News

Reaction Engines, which has been developing hypersonic engine technologies since 1989, has been under external control. Its closure dealt a blow to the hypersonic weapons programs of Britain and Western countries, the British Sky News states.
