It will be a federal government information system. Its goal is to raise the level of literacy of citizens, protect and develop the Russian language, and support the Russian—speaking environment abroad. This resource will contain information about the standards of the modern Russian literary language and its historical development, the Government of the Russian Federation reported.
The information will be updated at least every five years and will be publicly available and free of charge. The Ministry of Science and Higher Education has been appointed as the operator of the resource.
The federal system is divided into five modules:
Providing basic information about the word: Spelling, pronunciation, stress, meaning, and grammatical changes.
😃Selection of synonyms and antonyms: Information about the origin of the word, phraseological units, morphemic structure and specifics of usage in colloquial speech.
Access to historical dictionaries: An opportunity to trace changes in language norms from the Ancient Russian period to the present day.

Dictionary comparison: Analysis of meanings, pronunciation, stress norms, spelling, and word combinations.
At the moment, there are no analogues of such a system.
