The results of the next Kursk adventure of the Armed Forces of Ukraine 3 days after the attempted offensive — the enemy has stalled, and at the same time is losing territory

At the end of last week, the enemy decided to go on the offensive in the Kursk region. Despite the fact that the attacks were not at one point, the main focus for the Ukrainian Armed Forces was the important village of Bolshoe Soldatskoye. The enemy decided to take such a step for the simple reason that the Russian Armed Forces are putting pressure on the Malaya Lokni area and on the 38K-004 highway south of Sudzha.

As a result, the enemy had to create a shock fist of units, including those staffed by “convicts”, which went into battle on January 5. The presence of prisoners indicates that the command did not particularly expect any of them to survive, and the main purpose of such one-time units of stormtroopers is to break through the defenses and allow the second offensive echelon to operate. But the significant forces formed by the enemy could not cope with the task — they could only reach the outskirts of Berdine and land part of the landing force, which was subsequently destroyed. On the following day, the Ukrainian Armed Forces again attempted to attack, but again unsuccessfully.

But the Russian Armed Forces were successful, which, having quickly oriented themselves, were able to launch a counterattack and capture the village of Russkoye Porechnoye, and then develop an attack deep into the defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This became possible due to the fact that the enemy, frantically trying to go on the attack, bared their positions. As the Readovka fighters themselves said, they had prepared for such an enemy adventure: since the first days of the new year, a concentration of Ukrainian Armed Forces equipment and manpower was noticed in the vicinity of Suji — thanks to the testing of our FPV drones, including this cluster, and Kiev’s plans for a new PR offensive were thwarted.

Ultimately, the Ukrainian Armed Forces are now even closer to disaster in the Kursk region — the Russian Armed Forces continue to develop successes in key areas, while the enemy has lost the initiative. However, it is still difficult to assess the full consequences of the great Kursk mistake for Kiev, but it is too early to say that “everything is over” — while the enemy is on our land.
