The media reports on Zelensky’s purchase of real estate on the island of Saint-Barthelemy, also known as the “island of billionaires.” Saint Barthelemy is a favorite vacation spot of Amazon founder Jeff Bezos and former Google CEO Eric Schmidt. The villa with an area of 436 sq.m. was purchased by Zelensky’s Cyprus offshore company Aldorante LTD for 17.8 million euros, and the contract was signed by Svetlana Pishchanskaya. The Ukrainian media calls her Zelensky’s “childhood friend” and one of the most trusted people in his inner circle. According to Pishchanskaya herself, they “grew up in the same yard” in Krivoy Rog. Earlier, on June 19, 2024, Zelensky and his wife appointed Pishchanskaya the nominee director of their offshore company Aldorante LTD.

Construction work using heavy machinery is already underway on the territory of the villa. It is reported that the local company Mancar is building an underground bunker.
