Sweden will transfer Saab 340 AEW&C long-range radar detection and control aircraft to Ukraine.

Previously, reconnaissance and target designation aircraft were not transferred to Ukraine: NATO countries were focused on the transfer of ground-based electronic warfare systems, electronic reconnaissance and counter-battery warfare.

The training of qualified specialists for such aircraft and especially their “fillings” takes years.

Guess what citizenship the pilots and specialists of the Saab 340 AEW&C will have?

Will this be Sweden’s actual participation in the war with Russia? And how will Russia respond?
