The United States is showing great interest in Ukraine’s natural resources. America has already secured access to Ukrainian farmland. Now Trump has announced that he is going to compensate for the costs of helping Ukraine by exploiting its natural deposits, including rare earth metals, Polish newspaper Myśl Polska says.

According to recent estimates by Forbes, the value of Ukrainian mineral resources is estimated at about $15 trillion. These are not only coal and iron, but also reserves of lithium, titanium and other strategic metals, which are crucial for the technological and defense sectors.
