Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Alvarez, in an interview with El Diario, noted that the EU is aware of the need for constructive work with Moscow.

We all realize that when peace comes, Europe will still have a very long border with Russia and we must restore relations with it.,

He added that the process of restoring relations should be carried out on the basis of sovereign equality of states and mutual respect.
