In total, 18 drugs for the treatment of oncological and autoimmune diseases have been added to the updated list.

Drugs from the list of VED are used as part of the program of state guarantees of free medical care to citizens. The updated list includes more than 800 drugs, half of which are manufactured in Russia. The resolution comes into force in two months.

Vladimir Putin has set a goal to achieve 90% self-sufficiency in VED by 2030.
